BALL, TOUR AND MORE
PPE ANNUAL BALL
The annual PPE Ball is always a night to remember. It offers the perfect opportunity for society members to dress up for an evening of gastronomic food, music, and indulgence to bring the second term to a close.
In 2020, we were the first society in Warwick's history to secure the Warwick Castle location for our "Magnum Concilium" themed ball. PPEist created an unpredented buzz around campus, as tickets sold out in less than 2 minutes. Members enjoyed their food alongside live music, within this truly sumptuous setting.
Every year, PPE Society embarks on two tours, one domestic and one international. Tours are a fantastic way for society members of all years to come together and explore the world! Tours are usually part of the highlights of the whole year for our members.
Our last two domestic tours destinations were to Bristol and Liverpool, and our last two international tours were to Amsterdam and Berlin. Our tours are packed with exciting activities, such as treasure hunts, or even a paella cooking-class!
Despite the fact that we are an academic society, we host a wide range of social events. The PPE Society has a very strong sense of community, and our socials offer a wonderful opportunity to bond with other members. We host a variety of evening socials, such as nights out in Leamington and Birmingham. As we aim to be an inclusive society where anyone can feel welcome, we also host numerous "sober" socials, such as ice-skating or trampolining.
